Journey - traveler

I've completely fallen in love with Journey, I'm really glad I got it.  It's such an emotional experience as a game, which is such a trademark of that company, so I can't wait to see what they come out with next.  I really liked Flower, even if I didn't get the full version because there was part of it that was too scary.  Journey wasn't like that.  There was danger with the dragons, but it never got too frightening (honestly, that thing from Flower may have been one of the scariest things I've ever seen in a game).  In fact, the last time I played, I met a mentor.  I promised I wouldn't cry the second time and when my traveler woke up again at the top of the mountain and the mentor was waiting and calling for him, I couldn't help it.  Gorgeous experience.  It's kind of starting to inspire some stories I think...

...What rock have I been living under and how did I not know that this existed until today?  It's pricy, but I so want it.  I'd settle for just the book, but the big fancy one.. that's so cool.  I did just have a 40 hour week, it's not like I couldn't afford it.  I just don't like spending a lot of money.  Maybe I'll feel better if I 'save' twenty bucks a week for a couple of weeks and then buy it.

I keep saying I'm going to write and then I end up being too tired and blah when I get home, but I really should start writing more Star Wars stuff.  Like that idea I told athenaleigh the other day.  And yay, she's writing again too!  :D

I went to a concert by the Red Star Choir and Dance group from Russia.  So, so worth it.  I love Russian music, I just always have and this was amazing.  It was worth it for the music and then the dancers were beyond wonderful.  They did all of my favorites.  So glad I got to go, I would have been really disappointed if I had missed it.

I always say I'm going to and then I usually don't but my brain has apparently decided I need to do a modern AU of LA Noire.  It's becoming more detailed than just the head-stories I create to amuse myself when I have no other entertainment which usually means I'm gearing up for writing.  I've got all the partners worked in except Rusty and I can't forget him because he's Rusty.  Plus a bonus Kenny, not to be seen in said game...

Because I have to AU everything.  Someday I'll just change the names and call it original and be a real writer LOL.

New job position has been rough not so much because of what I'm doing which is really easy, but because certain people don't like the computer ordering system and take it out on the inventory clerks.  \o/ yay.  My first day training with the head inventory clerk, she told me that the frozen lead will be a pain and if he gives me any problems to take it straight to the manager.  The next day, he blew up at us and made her cry.  So I have that to look forward to.

Saw Star Wars in 3D today.  I have to say, unfortunately Star Wars will always be able to get money out of me.  I regret nothing.

But I do have to say that while the 3D was fun for the most part, the things that translate the best are space battles and while I'm pretty sure they're doing all the Star Wars movies, I REALLY can't wait for the original trilogy just for the sheer amount of space battles in those movies and how amazing that will look in 3D.  Oh man.  I've never seen Empire and ROTJ in the theatre, I managed to catch A New Hope for the special edition release (I was like 9) but missed out on the others.  :D  It'll be epic.

Qui-Gon Jinn, I missed you.  I still miss you, so does Obi.
